Workshop: Participatory Moves as Parasitic Relations in Senior Healthcare
This experimental workshop explores the dynamics of participation in healthcare research practices including ethnography, design and policy. Points of departure are Michael Serres’ treatment of "the parasite" and research focused on healthcare for older people. It questions how might parasitic relations entangle participatory actors in the practices that we study, design and otherwise shape? Invited speakers include:

• Steve Brown, University of Leicester
• Dick Willems, University of Amsterdam
• Alex Wilkie, Goldsmiths/University of London
• Lene Otto, University of Copenhagen
• Bjarke Oxlund, University of Copenhagen
• Peter Danholt, Aarhus University
• Joachim Halse, Danish School of Design
• Casper Bruun Jensen, IT University of Copenhagen
• Marie Ertner, IT University of Copenhagen

The workshop is sponsored by the Care Moves research project and organized by Peter Lutz, IT University of Copenhagen.

Place and Time: Friday, June 1, Design Lab, 9:00 - 16:30
